Golfing Uses For The Uclamp

Golfing Accessories

Golfing accessories Have you ever been caught out by the rain whilst playing your game of golf? Perhaps you’d rather not carry a heavy golfing umbrella from hole to hole, having to put it down every time you wanted to take a shot. The uClamp, with or without its extension pole (depending on the length of your umbrella) is the answer. The uClamp, unlike any other device, will allow you to attach an umbrella of your choosing, securely to your golf bag trolley/kaddy. Where some other umbrella holders use screws to secure the umbrella into place, which may damage the umbrella handle and affect its warranty, the uClamp uses a clamping/gripping action to avoid this. The uClamp Caters for players of most heights and is especially handy for women and younger participants. An umbrella, attached with of without the extension pole, will provide shelter even when taking shots, pulling or pushing the Kaddy/trolley. When not in use, the uClamp will allow the umbrella to be stored neatly along the side of your trolly/kaddy. It can even be used as a ‘sunshade’.

The uClamp is a clever, lightweight, small and neat device designed to overcome a major problem encountered by golfers on golf courses. The uClamp can be fitted on to most golf bag trolleys and kaddys in seconds, no tools required. Once in place, you will have the reassurance that allows you to focus on your game.

Now you really can, ‘swing-in-the-rain’.

How Does It Work

Golfing accessories  Each uClamp set comprises two clamps that work independently of each other. Both clamps are held together by spindle and two tightening knobs, one at each end. Each tightening knob controls the ‘clamping’ pressure of the clamp nearest to it. The uClamp will allow two completely different sized/shaped poles (or the frame of your golf-bag trolley/kaddy) to be attached to each other at whatever angle one chooses, around a 360 arc.

The extension pole has ‘two sets’ of uClamps attached to it at either end. The extension pole is attached to the handle-bar section. An umbrella (its size is the choice of the user) is fixed to the uClamp at the other end of the pole. Both uClamps allow 360 degree rotation. Rotate pole with bottom uClamp until vertical position is found, then rotate umbrella with top uClamp for fine positioning. Tighten both uClamps to maintain position. Height adjustments can be made by repositioning either one or both uClamps along the length of the extension pole.

If used without extension pole

Attach one Clamp section of the uClamp to the frame section of the golf bag trolley/kaddy, near to the hand grip, and the other to the umbrella. Once the desired angle has been found, generally in a vertical position, lock uClamp into place by tightening the two turn wheels/knobs at both ends of the device.
